PERSONAL REFERENCES (not necessary for GAP short-term trip)

Please submit  two (2) personal character references.  The persons providing the references should fill out the fields immediately below and press the Send button on the bottom of this page. One reference must be from a church staff pastor. The second reference must be from someone who has known you at least two years and is not a family member. Previous or current teachers and employers are preferred. The references will be verified by our staff.

The following will be required in order to complete the application process if you wish to participate in any GAP program:

A passport.

A visa to enter Brazil.

Full registration payment prior to the GAP session (payment schedule on Dates & Fees page).

The following is required for participants in GAP 1, GAP 2, or permanent placement:

Obtain personal medical insurance and provide proof of insurance.

Submit a letter of consent from your doctor, providing details of any special needs or chronic medical conditions.
