FACULTY


Our missions faculty is highly trained and experienced and brings to the table a vast range of missions experiences, including church planting, emergency relief, youth ministry, administrative ministry, worship and more. Together we have missions experience from countries around the world including Russia, Honduras, USA, Brazil, Argentina, Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.

Philip & Renee Murdoch
Philip is the founder of the GAP and together with his wife Renée founded
Light to the Nations Church in 2000. Philip coordinates a network of churches that has planted over 350 churches in Honduras, Brazil, Argentina and Chile during the last six years. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and has worked as the administrator of Bethany World Prayer Center. He is currently the Brazil World Zone Leader for the Global 12 Project, a church planting movement.

Scott Dalton

Scott and his wife Sherri are serving as the Directors of the GAP. Scott is a gifted teacher and administrator and has overseen the development of the GAP. A career missionary with Elim Fellowship, he has a MA in Economics from SUNY Albany, has attended Elim Bible Institute and is an experienced worship leader.

Sherri Dalton

Sherri serves with her husband Scott at the GAP and is an effective and prophetic instructor. The Dalton family resides on the GAP campus in northeastern Brazil. Sherri has a BA in Latin American Studies from SUNY Albany and has attended Elim Bible Institute.

Elton Tavares

Elton completed GAP 1 in May of 2005 and currently serves as a staff pastor at Light to the Nations Church in Rio de Janeiro. Elton is a dynamic and enthusiastic instructor that we are glad to have at the GAP on a part-time basis.
