The GAP

FIELD PLACEMENT

There are two options for field placement through the GAP – temporary and permanent.

GAP 2 Field Internship – Students who have completed GAP 1 or receive approval can participate in a field internship at a new or recent church plant in Brazil. Typically these churches will be located in the less reached and neglected interior areas of Brazil. The internships, which are for four to six months, have beginning dates based on the schedule of the host church and intern. Also, internships may be available serving at the GAP campus or in other duties with Light to the Nations.

Permanent Field Placement – Students who have completed GAP 1 and GAP 2 or receive approval can apply to appointment as a long-term missionary with Light to the Nations. There are various roles in which to serve: GAP staff, crusade coordinator, church-planting administrative duties, serving at a key regional church, etc. There are no ends to the ways that you can serve as we seek to expand our impact in Brazil and beyond!
